MCAA Mentorship 2026–27 Kicks Off

41 Students and 22 Alumni Mentors Begin a Year of Guided Growth! The MCAA Mentorship Programme 2026–27 was officially launched at a virtual event on 28th September 2026. The programme pairs students with alumni mentors across medicine, law, finance, technology, urban planning, psychology, education and more.
The evening opened with a welcome address that laid out the heart of the programme: every mentor once sat where the mentees sit today, choosing a major, weighing one path against another, wondering what lies ahead. The mentorship exists to make those honest, pressure-free conversations possible—to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be, with someone who has already walked that road.
Two key messages ran through the keynote. For mentees, the reminder was direct: this programme is yours. Reach out first, come prepared with questions, and don't be afraid to ask about failures as well as successes—the missteps are often where the best lessons live. For mentors, the thank-you was paired with an expectation: around one meeting a quarter, at a pace and in a format that suits both, whether a video call, a coffee, or a walk.
For the MCAA community, this launch was more than a pairing event—it was a declaration that, from this moment forward, each of the 41 students now has a guide who once sat exactly where they sit today.
